The boys covered the latest games where the Flyers recorded a 1-0-1 record against the Florida Panthers and the Carolina Hurricanes. The Orange and Black have been playing competitive hockey and staying in games while they are up against some of the Beasts of the East. Carter Hart has been on a different planet between the pipes and has started the season off with an astounding 2.31 GAA and a .938 SV%.
Chuck Fletcher and company were busy last week as they claimed Kieffer Bellows off waivers from the New York Islanders. Former first round pick of the New York Islanders is looking for a fresh start in a different system and is excited for the opportunity given to him by Fletcher and Tortorella. The guys weigh in on what this means for the roster and the team going forward even though someone doesn’t like the move at all.
There was some light shed on the Sean Couturier injury front as he is expected to miss the next 3-4 months after having a successful back correction surgery. The Bullies throw their ideas around on whether Coots should even see the ice towards the end of the season or if the Flyers should shelf him until he’s 100% healthy.
