Exposure Season Is In Full Swing At America's Showcase

While, many junior clubs have already started posting their pre-draft camps or tryout camps, the showcase season is now getting into full swing.

The first one up: America's Showcase

Starting on April 11th and running through the 15th, St. Louis, Missouri will be the host of The America’s Showcase.

For those of you not aware, the America’s Showcase is one of the top showcases for High School aged players and the event is heavily scouted by junior clubs and colleges from across the country.

The showcase in of itself is made up of 20 teams from around the country that compete in a round robin play finishing with playoff competition. These teams will be coming from states such as California, Florida, Texas, Utah and Arizona to name a few.

While the Alum page is currently down on their website, I know personally from teams that I have worked with that we’ve found many a great talent involved in this showcase.

Founded in 1985, this is one of the longest running Showcases in North America and provides ample amounts of exposure for those high-end high school players.

This isn’t a showcase that one can just walk into, as you need to be selected by your states governing body of hockey and they are very detailed with the information they give out on the players taking part.

So this isn’t just a sign up and show up showcase, this is the best of the best among High School and Prep players.

If you are in the St. Louis area, take a trip over and see some of these top young players in action.

Follow along on their twitter account for updates throughout the week and weekend!
