Fraser Cup Semifinal Playoff Picture

The Bozeman Icedogs and Sheridan Hawks earned first-round byes in the Frontier division while The Great Fall Americans and Yellowstone Quake swept their first-round playoff series.

In the semifinals, The Yellowstone Quake will host Bozeman for game one and will travel to Haynes Pavilion for games two and three (if necessary).


Staying in the Frontier Division The Sheridan Hawks will travel to Great Falls to take on the Americans on Wednesday before the series shifts back to Wyoming for games two and three on Friday and Saturday (if necessary).


In the central division, the top-seeded Rochester Grizzlies will start the best of three series on the road in Peoria on Thursday night before hosting the Mustangs on Saturday and Sunday (if necessary) at the Rochester Recreation Center. The number two seeded St. Louis Jr. Blues will host the Coulee Region Chill for games one and three on Friday and Sunday (if necessary) and playing in La Crosse on Saturday.


Out east in the Coastal Division, the New England Knights will host the Northeast Generals on Thursday and Sunday if needed while the Generals will get game two on Friday. In the other series in the Coastal the L/A Nordiques will travel to the New England Stars on Friday and Sunday if necessary and will host the Stars on Saturday.


In the South Division, the Atlanta Capitals will host the Louisiana Drillers on Friday and Sunday if necessary while the Drillers will get game two on Saturday. Meanwhile, the defending Fraser Cup Champion Texas Brahmas will host the Mid Cities Jr. Stars on Friday and Monday if needed while the Stars will play host to the Brahmas on Saturday.


Finally in the West, the North Iowa Bulls will host the Alexandria Blizzard on Friday and Sunday if necessary while the series will see game two played at the Runestone Community Center on Saturday. Also in the West, the Granite City Lumberjacks will host games one and three (if necessary) on Friday and Sunday while the New Ulm Civic Center will be the site for game two on Saturday.


As of Monday, March 9th the Northeast Division did not have a playoff schedule finalized. All series are the best of three format.
