Trimble's Drill of the Week - The Hockey Focus

Trimble’s Drill of the Week- Line Rush Relay

Two teams with 3 pucks shooting on 2 different goalies.

On the whistle 3 players at a time will have to execute a footwork pattern (transitional turns, mowhawks, tight turns or jumps etc), before picking up their sticks and attacking their net 3 on 0.

Once they score (and not before they score) the next group of 3 performs the same footwork pattern and attacks the net with the 2nd puck.

This continues, repeats, until the 3rd puck is scored.

Losing team does pushups to create accountability.

Focus on having some type of entry pattern or concept. Preach moving the puck and quality shots over quantity.

Kids will have fun and its a great way to finish a practice. Watch video to see in action.
