The Philadelphia Hockey Club (PHC) will be joining the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) for the 2020-21 campaign, it was announced today by the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL), the parent organization to which the NCDC belongs.

“We are pleased to welcome to the NCDC an organization that has established itself with strong Midget and Junior teams in the USPHL,” said Dave Peters, Deputy Commissioner of the NCDC, via a press release issued by the USPHL. “They will be a valued addition to the NCDC.”

PHC, in conjunction with HIA Managment (Hollydell Ice Arena in Sewell, N.J.), have purchased the franchise currently held by the Boston Bandits.

“With the addition of tuition-free hockey at Hollydell, we will provide opportunities for players in the Philadelphia region and around the country to advance to college hockey,” said Tom Bunting, Hockey Director at Hollydell Ice Arena in the USPHL press release. “We expect the Philadelphia Hockey Club Midget program to be a primary source of players for our NCDC team, and look forward to growing and improving the 16U and 18U levels.”
