Trimble’s Drill of the Week- Drill Types to create a more competitive group of players
1 on 1 drills in a small space. Create an environment where the players have to earn the puck and make plays in a small space in front of their team. Increases body contact and quicker decision making
Races- Create drills in your practices where players have to race to win. Not just a 1 on 1 scenario, but other variables, numbers and conditions. Have players race or have to push themselves to win.
Accountability- create drills or games where teams and players are accountable to the outcome. Play to a certain number. Pushups for goals against or a certain outcome happens. Create conditions where if you dont reach the desired outcome, you have to take ownership for it.
