Welcome to the Wolves: New Kids Hockey Show Debuts October 8
A new hockey adventure is coming to Scoring Concepts YouTube! Created by hockey coach Andrew Trimble, Welcome to the Wolves is an animated kids hockey show that combines skill instruction with stories about teamwork, friendship, and confidence.
The series follows Bear, Blake, Herbie, Coach T, and Roger, a rink-loving dog who is always nearby. Through familiar situations young players encounter at practice, the characters learn how to improve their game and support one another.
The first episode, “Herbie Learns to Pass,” explores what happens when one player keeps the puck a little too long. Coach T teaches soft hands when receiving a pass, keeping your head up to find teammates, and sweeping the puck to keep passes flat. Along the way, Blake reminds Bear that a teammate may need encouragement to feel confident trying a skill.
The show premieres Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. Eastern, with a new episode every Thursday. Young players, parents, and coaches are invited to watch together and bring the lessons into their next practice.
